Alone Together

Singleton is a man with a bizarre crisis. He’s deeply sexually attracted to being alone. Which is not to say that he’s impotent, but rather, he’s more aroused by solitude than he is by personal contact. Of course, women he attempts to become involved with judge his bizarre method of wanting extreme isolation immediately prior to, or intermittently throughout sex. He invents an imaginary friend to satisfy both of his needs simultaneously, but things get awkward when he realizes that she isn’t imaginary. She’s been pretending.

Fifty Dates in Fifty States

An insecure woman accepts the challenge from a friend to go on a date with a man (or woman) in every state, secure in the comfort that she won’t encounter anyone she knows. Obviously, things get complicated when she falls for one of the men she goes out with, but still has several states to go. But maybe the guy from another state is primarily attracted to her ambition, and her ambition is to go on so many other dates. Perhaps her ultimate ambition is to end on her home state, on a date with a guy she’s liked for ages, once she has developed adequate confidence to pursue him. But by the time she gets there, she is conflicted and must choose between the two potential men.

The XYZ Killer

A serial killer with OCD strives to kill people with names beginning with each letter of the alphabet in order. Needless to say, this pisses off the police and his victims have an irritating habit of resisting death, but his greatest obstacles are societal constructs like nicknames, and the general habit of parents to avoid naming their children things that begin with letters like Q & X. But he overcomes these obstacles, only to encounter a bigger one when, as he works his way through the latter alphabet, he meets and falls in love with a beautiful woman named Yolanda. Oh god, Y!?
