Over and Above

A college freshman laments over the loss of a high-school girlfriend years before.  He distracts himself with sex and stupidity and avoids confronting his feelings of guilt over the disastrous relationship.  When a potential relationship presents itself, the guy must finally confront his feelings.  His new girl helps him, and together they put the past behind him.  The film comes to a close when finally, the two are happily together.  Then the phone rings, and after holding himself back, the guy eagerly picks it up.

Asking For It

            After a college girl walks in on a date rape in progress and attempts unsuccessfully to serve as a witness against the attacker, she becomes a rape vigilante.  She deliberately puts herself in vulnerable situations with men that her friends allege have attacked them, and then waits for them to make a move so that she can get them jailed or worse.  Of course things get complicated when she falls for one of her marks and begins to wonder just how blurry the lines of intoxicated sex can get.
