Chains

Johns is a struggling single father of three in the mid 1800s, attempting to raise healthy children with a positive moral grasp of the horrors of slavery. He’s struggling to feed his kids on a teachers salary. Also, there’s lots of negative views from friends and relatives concerning his views on black americans. Especially from his brother who owns a small plantation in the south. His brother has offered handouts to help Johns, but Johns refuses, as his late wife would never have approved of accepting money generated by slavery. When Johns’ brother dies and Johns inherits the plantation and the slaves. He wants to free the slaves, but if he does, he knows that he will lose the property and be unable to feed his children. He tries to befriend the slaves and do right by them while persuading them to stay, but it’s virtually impossible and of course his kids are learning that slavery means they get to eat. Emancipation means that they go hungry.

World War Infinity

A chrono-viewing research base in Hawaii inadvertently fractures the space-time continuum and opens temporal rifts across the globe, tapping into periods of violent temporal significance.  Experts in the American Southeast must escape from pockets of crazed civil war armies, catch a plane and get shot down by Federales over Mexico, and then escape from conquistador era warfare, in order to infiltrate Pearl Harbor torn Hawaii and repair the Earth’s chronology.

A History of Drug Abuse

A major drug cartel in the northeast sends a group of promising young dealers to a recently developed city in New Mexico to accommodate the employees of a massive company that has just opened.  The fledgling drug trade spreads, dealing with local law enforcement, and a competing cartel that also has ties in the North.  The costs of this drug war weigh heavy on the parent cartel forcing them to regain their money by taxing their New Mexico syndicate.  Eventually the New Mexico group declares its independence and a major war ensues.
