A Perfect Rematch

            Two years after the death of Kara’s husband, she is terribly confused when she sees his face on an online dating site.  She begins trying to set up a meeting with the man, but is aware that all of the possible outcomes have terrifying implications.  Perhaps he never really died, but has lead an elaborate hoax.  Maybe this is a con and someone is just using his picture.  Or perhaps the mysterious online man is in some way connected to his untimely death.  And yet… he seems to care about Kara the way her husband did.

            A widow who’s been out of the game for a few years and has become increasingly reclusive rejects her friends’ suggestions that she try online dating, until she meets a man through an internet chess site.  She starts a long distance relationship that quickly becomes personal as things heat up, but she soon learns that this man’s relationships are just as manipulative as his chess, and she has to decide whether this is a game she really wants to play, especially when the stakes could be her life.
