Mount St. Patricks

      Drunken miner’s pursuing rumors of gold in the clover-covered mountains near a small town use dynamite to start a seismic chain of events that begins leaking ever increasing amounts of barium tinged green magma towards the festive Irish-town at the foot of the mountain.  Tourism is increasing as the threat grows and one forest ranger struggles to raise awareness of the unlucky harms facing the town.

Floodbringer

An ancient Sumerian tribesman is hunting in the mountains when a freak storm creates an avalanche.  He saves the chieftain’s daughter but then refuses her sexual advances.  He is jailed on charges of devil worship.  The day after his imprisonment, a massive flood destroys most of the town.  He is accused of causing it and sentenced to death.  He flees and encounters various odd people before eventually ending up in the mountains again.  There he sees another storm brewing.  He re-enters his village the following day, claims that he is a messenger of God, and then proves it by “causing” a flood.  The chieftain is overthrown and he is revered.
