Fifty Dates in Fifty States

An insecure woman accepts the challenge from a friend to go on a date with a man (or woman) in every state, secure in the comfort that she won’t encounter anyone she knows. Obviously, things get complicated when she falls for one of the men she goes out with, but still has several states to go. But maybe the guy from another state is primarily attracted to her ambition, and her ambition is to go on so many other dates. Perhaps her ultimate ambition is to end on her home state, on a date with a guy she’s liked for ages, once she has developed adequate confidence to pursue him. But by the time she gets there, she is conflicted and must choose between the two potential men.

The Homelest

A homeless man strives to become the world’s most preeminent homeless person. Unfortunately, society tends to frown on homelessness. Unsavory people try to rob, beat, and otherwise molest him. Worse still is the inherent contradiction that since he’s aspiring to a negative spawned from lack of success, the more success he achieves, the harder it becomes to maintain.

Better to Rule

A demoness named Cassandra aims to become a ‘guardian’ after she learns that they have better retirement benefits. Unfortunately, the angel dominated workforce is rife with rampant discrimination. For example, the training facilities are often flight-accessible only and of course, Cassandra doesn’t have wings. Also, there’s a pretty strong conservative faction among the angels who seem to think that letting a demon in could pollute the purity of the whole guarding business. And the spearhead of this faction is none other than… God. This is a bummer as he kind of runs the whole operation. Oh, and Cassandra’s family aren’t exactly down with this career goal either.
