The Visionary

A blind painter is dismissed by the art world as being inherently incapable of participating, when he strives to convey the sense of sightlessness to the sighted. The people that do support him primarily do so for fraudulent reasons; they just want to seem accepting without actually internalizing his goals. Worse, insecurities caused by his phony supporters causes him to doubt himself, and since he can’t see, he struggles to confirm his self-worth.

Stall Art

A mockumentary following a socially inept man who can only express himself by writing beautiful poetry on bathroom walls.  He achieves national celebrity for his work but is deeply disturbed when he discovers that an impostor is imitating him.  The mockumentary follows him on his search for the man pretending to be him.

Frame Story

The evil Da Vinci Code, with a bit of demonology.  B-movie Tom Hanks investigates a mysterious kidnapping that appears tied into some ancient Bosch paintings.  He discovers that they predict some kind of evil sacrifice and he has to follow clues through Satanic cults in order to figure out what the kidnappers have done with their victim.  And things get weird when at some point he finds himself painted into a landscape hundreds of years old.  Oh, and it’s told in flashback.
