Singleton is a man with a bizarre crisis. He’s deeply
sexually attracted to being alone. Which is not to say that he’s impotent, but
rather, he’s more aroused by solitude than he is by personal contact. Of
course, women he attempts to become involved with judge his bizarre method of
wanting extreme isolation immediately prior to, or intermittently throughout
sex. He invents an imaginary friend to satisfy both of his needs
simultaneously, but things get awkward when he realizes that she isn’t
imaginary. She’s been pretending.
