Taryn
decided to skip college so that she could jump move to Los Angeles and pursue
her career as a pop singer. After two
years of working her tail off, it worked out.
Her most recent youtube single has become a viral sensation and her
agent is finally getting her interviews with some major labels. She goes back to her hometown to celebrate
the success and is invited out to a college party of the sort she’s missed out
on, by some of her old friends. It’s a
rager.
The next
morning, she wakes up feeling horrible and with virtually no memory of the
night before. She goes to a doctor, who
examines her thoroughly and she’s delighted to learn that she wasn’t
raped. Then she gets the text, a nude
photo of herself, surrounded by drug paraphernalia, taken at the party, with a
threat that if she doesn’t pay off the photographer, the photo and others will
be leaked online. She contacts the
friends who invited her to the party and starts trying to figure out who could
have done this to her. Then she gets a
call from her agent. He has been sent
the photo and is flying to see her to discuss what to do. This could ruin her career.
Taryn
begins aggressively hunting down the culprit, but her friends aren’t overly
helpful. She sets up dates, putting herself
in increasing danger, with some of the guys from the party, in the hope of
figuring out who took the picture. She
narrows it down to a couple of potential culprits and tries to enlist the aid
of her friends to help get back at them.
Ultimately,
Taryn discovers that many many people at the party were in on it, that they
were pissed and vindictive about the way she neglected them to pursue success
and that no one is going to help her bring the person who did it to justice. So she sets up a date with the guy she is
certain was the ringleader. She leads
him on, seduces him, and then using her viral following on the internet, very
publicly embarrasses him, ruining her career, at least for the time being, but
bringing him to justice.
