            Your landlord buried a body in the septic tank.  Masks the smell and it will take ages for the corpse to be found.  Except a previous tenant’s science experiment involved some chemicals that have brought the creature from beneath the lawn back from the dead, and now you and the other new tenants have to fight back the filthy, foul-smelling beast.
