Howloween

The day before Halloween: Mischief night, and a full moon.  A group of drunken costumed college kids go out for a night of petty vandalism, with particular focus on the shut-in who lives down the street.  Unfortunately for everyone involved, the reclusive man is a long-time werewolf who has shut himself away because he knows the danger that he represents.  The kids’ harassment elevates into home intrusion, and the screams of terror from within the house die away as the sun comes up.
Halloween day: The town celebrates as our werewolf recluse tries to decide what to do with the transformed creatures now trapped in his home.  He begins to seal up his house, but is unable to finish before the sun goes out and the trick or treating begins.  Sure enough, the new werewolves, still decked out in all manner of Halloween costumes rise and escape into the night, mingling with, and often devouring the unsuspecting trick or treaters.

A couple of middle-school aged kids find themselves hunted and flee, eventually finding refuge in none other than the master werewolf’s house, where they hide and wait while one of their babysitters and a few friends seek them out, fighting the costumed beasties in the street until they too emerge into the werewolf lair, where they must defeat the master in order to rescue the children.
